Just wanted to post this topic because recently I have seen a few guys walking around with injuries and when asking how they occurred it has all lead back to the same thing.....playing airsoft.
I will start of the by explaining my numerous injuries, because at the minute I always seem to come away with something else wrong. 1. Dislocated Finger - this happened when i decided to do a suicide run to get the buzzer during the buzzer game at GZC. The run was going well until i decide to jump for the buzzer slip just be for launch and crashed straight into the wall. I was told the run was inspiring but after I was picked up of the floor and grabbed my weapon I noticed there was a bit of a lump sticking out the side of my little finger...........lovely. 2. Pulled back muscle - when fighting hard against the ur.as.s team I ran forward into a house to provide covering fire for a team mate, but as those who were there that day might remember, the conditions were pretty bad, and as soon as I went to move again I slipped on the mud and fell straight on my back. Plate carrier twisted badly and I ended up with a terribly sore back, and after looking like a cripple for the rest of the day, went home laid down and couldn't move for 24 hours. 3. Bruised/cut head - Months ago was again playing at GZC and went into cover behind a mound. I looked at where I was going to move and just as I did I tripped and fell and head butted the ground and hit a stone. Thought nothing of it for the rest of the day but after getting home and getting ready for a shower, noticed swelling at the side of the head and blood dried in the hair. 4. Heavily bruised jaw - ran and took cover with the weapon but was so quick that my weapon hit the top of my knee and pushed the butt straight up into my face, bit my tongue and really hurt my jaw. 5. Sprained ankle - I haven't done this in a while (touch wood) but every few weeks I would always end up going over on my ankle/ankles and because of there already deteriorated condition I ended up hobbling around in pain for the next couple of days, and just as they healed again it would happen again. Those are the main ones but they do not included the hundreds of hits across the legs, arms, fingers, face, mouth, head etc etc etc etc etc etc that we all suffer in the course of a game. -------------------- 3 things to remember in Combat
1. Don't draw fire..........................It irritates the people around you. 2. Don't run................you'll only die tired. 3. It's not the one with your name on it; it's the one addressed "to whom it may concern" you've got to think about. Air Assault Drop Short ![]() |

It was my right ankle so I was just about able to drive and I think it was the boots that helped |
